Description
The upgrade that matters more than the machine
If you’re choosing between a better machine and a better grinder, buy the grinder. Blade grinders produce a mix of dust and boulders, and no amount of temperature stability will fix an uneven extraction. Burrs crush beans to a consistent size, which is what lets you actually taste a change when you adjust something.
Stepless adjustment matters for espresso specifically. Stepped grinders jump between settings, and the right grind often sits between two of them. This one moves continuously, so you can make the small correction that takes a shot from sour to sweet.
